Investing Resource Center

Hello and welcome to Financial Audio. This is the initial introduction to an information series that will provide listeners with detailed and tactical guidance on today’s complicated financial world. The series will begin with a detailed examination of the stock market and the various tools available to resourceful investors. It will continue with a candid overview of today’s mortgage industry and it will then move on to the economy as a whole and current events taking place.

My name is Patrick and I’m your host. I decided to create this series because an earlier podcast series entitled “Beyond the Rate” exploded on me and made me appreciate the REACH available in today’s internet world. As of this recording, that series has been downloaded over 14,000 times in 27 different countries and I’ve received emails from across the globe as a result. Beyond the Rate deals exclusively with mortgages and much of the mortgage-related information in Financial Audio is recycled from that series. I mean; I edited it and brought it up-to-date but much of the content is the same.

Over the past four years, I’ve been a Mortgage Broker but my true passion has always been with broader financial and strategic concepts and I’m looking forward to sharing some of that with you. I hope you’ll subscribe to the series and join me as we explore a long list of fascinating financial topics. You can find written versions of these podcasts at FinancialAudio.com and I encourage your candid feedback at the same location.

We’ll be starting today with a brief introduction to the initial 20-chapter section on stock market investing. This section is designed to familiarize individual investors with sophisticated online tools readily available for little or no money. We’ll be introducing both fundamental and technical analysis but most of the applications are built on technical strategies.

The primary motivation for this initial section about the stock market is to identify alternatives to the expensive platforms being marketed these days on TV. Have you seen the ads?? You know the ones! The ads proclaiming that you too can become a millionaire, just by attending a free hotel seminar and, inevitably, investing $1000 to $2500 in a self-contained platform being promoted by a perfectly-spoken good-looking presenter wearing a beautiful suit?

If you watch TV on Sunday afternoons or late at night, you’ve seen the infomercials I’m talking about. And they usually look pretty good. The perfectly-choreographed free hotel presentations are full of enviable success stories and examples of how FOOL-proof these expensive platforms supposedly are. Well, admittedly, many of them are indeed sophisticated. They provide good and accurate information, and generally present it through simple user-friendly interfaces with pretty graphics like big green and red arrows. But that does NOT mean the same information isn’t available for free, because it is.

That’s what Financial Audio is all about – free or at least inexpensive yet powerful resources available to anyone with a computer and an internet connection. Each chapter will detail a particular tool and exactly how it can be incorporated into an existing investment strategy. We’ve got a lot of material to cover so again, I hope you’ll subscribe. Each podcast will be about 15 to 20 minutes long and I’ll be working hard to keep them coming.

In the meantime, thank you very much for listening. If you like what you hear on this initial podcast, please tell a friend about the series. Modern technology like podcasting can help elevate new and innovative thinkers but we all have to play our part to help spread the word for those who deserve our endorsements. If I am deserving of yours, my thanks.

Again, you can find written versions of these podcasts at FinancialAudio.com and I do offer workshops, seminars and keynote speeches as well as a variety of more advanced information products so please email me at Patrick@FinancialAudio.com for more information. I’m also doing a series on innovative marketing and strategic business positioning. That series is called Tactical Execution and you can find it on iTunes.

Stay tuned. There’s a lot more to come. Until next time, think big, take action and invest strategically. Bye for now.
